Mactopus is a Mac M1 on the Filmworks/Pulse network serving as the target for the BorealSky archive migration and as a future SMB file gateway for the network.
Hosts ZFS storage volumes. Target for the BorealSky archive migration (separate from the PFW Backup sets going to PulseFlashNAS).
Being configured as an SMB file gateway to provide Windows-compatible file sharing for the Filmworks/Pulse network. Configuration was in progress as of April 2026.
